A Refined Emphasis

Greetings all,

After several quiet weeks, it's my pleasure to share with you the product of  our internal development. It isn't - quite yet - a new tool. It is (we think!) a much more profound evolution. 

As you all know, our deep vision is to develop educational tools that help learners comprehend all the most difficult math, science and infolit skills they must learn. What we recognize, and must address, is that effective instruction and technological integration is a critical part of this equation. 

To address educators' needs, we have redefined the idea of a "Tool", our technologies, as something much more robust. Our educational tools will be visualizing, interactive instructive or exploration tools - as they have been.

As a method to address implementation and instruction, we will augment each core Tool with pedagogical modeling videos that describe how our technologies can be easily, and effectively, integrated into a variety of classroom settings. These video models will illustrate two things. First, they will describe an effective pedagogical rhetoric that educators can use to engage their students in learning the target skill or material. Second, they will illustrate how our tools can be integrated in a simple, seamless way into several different classroom contexts.

At first, you will notice a more refined mission (see: About the Organization). Our next step is to address this evolved, clarified program through a Math project that began this June. Are you curious? We hope so - stay tuned, as details are forthcoming!
